We ask that clients do not arrive any more than 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment as we book clients back to back and do not have a receptionist. Please text or call when you arrive and I will give you the clear to come in! This gives us proper time to properly sanitize between clients and make sure we're 100% ready for you. Please avoid ringing the door bell when possible as we have a baby in the home. We are an appointment only studio and will not be accepting walk ins for any reason, you will need an appointment to pick up retail products. Health consent forms must be completed before the start of any services. Note: If you deny to fill out the necessary paperwork, your service will be cancelled without hesitation and you will be charged full treatment price.
Late arrivals will result in shortened service and will be charged full service price. Late arrivals after 10 minutes of scheduled appointment time or no shows will be cancelled and will be billed for full service price. Any client who cancels within 6 hours of scheduled time or does not show up for appointment will be charged 100% of treatment price.
Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, I respectfully ask that you give me a minimum 6 hour notice by text or call/voicemail. Fees may be waived in case of an emergency or sickness if we are properly notified.
As you enter our studio, remember it is also our home and I ask that you please respect all rules and policies that are in place. This time is dedicated for only you and call for no distractions or worries. We ask that you turn cellphones to silent and that you please arrive to your service alone unless there is a special circumstance (underage client or client needing special assistance). Any clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a parental waiver signed for their first appointment.
At Smoky Lake Skin Studio, all treatments will be provided by a Licensed Esthetician & Skin therapist. If you are unsatisfied with a service, we ask that you contact us immediately. No credit or refunds will be given after 48 hours of service.
To be eligible for a refund on retail products, the product must be in the original packaging and unopened/unused within 7 days of purchase. If you experience any allergies or reaction to a product, you may request a product exchange or credit within 7 days of purchase.
We kindly ask that clients please arrive to all lash and facial treatment appointments with no eye makeup on. Less makeup removal means more treatment time! Lash clients are asked to remove contact lenses to prevent irritation or infection in case product comes in contact with eyes.
Spray tan clients can prepare for their upcoming appointment by exfoliating the night before their appointment. Dry exfoliate with an exfoliating mitt, gloves or a loofah. Arrive to your appointment with clean, dry skin that is free of any makeup, deodorants, lotions, body products, etc. Be sure to wear or pack dark, loose clothing to wear after the tan.
Feel free to wear whatever you would like during your tan. A bikini, strapless bra, or topless, whatever you are comfortable with! You will have to allow the tan to develop for a minimum of 4-12 hours. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have!
